I am a 2016 MCA graduate. I think I am good in programming but very poor in communication (English). Because of that, I am not placing any company. How can i improve myself in English? Give me some suggestions..

Hi, how did you learn speaking your mother tongue? Human brain works the best when all three aspects of learning are coordinated, which are auditory, visual and kinesthetic. Reading books, newspapers, novel, which are the usually suggested modes, can improve your vocabulary for sure. But to learn communicative English, you have to - Find yourself more around people who speak in English. - Watch English news channels and observe their body language along with the words that you hear. This is how you learnt speaking your mother tongue. - Watch You Tube videos of Indian people who speak in neutral accent. If you have interest in Cricket, Harsha Bhogles video can be a great starting point - Practice more and more. Don't worry about doing mistakes, just speak in English wherever you have opportunities. If you had stopped cycling, when you fell down the first time, you would have not been riding a two wheeler today. So if you are not confident in doing something, do that 100 times and you will become confident eventually. All the best!

Analyse your strengths and think about what interests you the most. Once you identify that driving force, you can start thinking on what you can do in the area of your passion. For eg: There was a friend of mine, who was in the same situation, about 5 yrs back. This guy was crazy about cricket and he realized that he could do something about that. Today, he is successfully running a Cricket Club in Chennai and coaches many renowned young talents at the state level of cricket in Tamil Nadu. All the best! Hi, I have completed my graduation in bachelor of commerce in distance education and I have 2+ years experience in payroll and query management... Now I want to do sap courses which relate to my carrier.... And also I have planned to do a communication course in British council at chennai.... The above mentioned is my pre plans for my carrier. Hi, your plans seems to be fine and looks like it can help you progress further. Having said that, if you have experience in Pay roll management, why don't you start looking for some courses on Human Resources management. A MBA, even in distance education can add value to your profile. Moreover, be sure on what you want to do and where do you want to find yourself, 5 years down the line. Once, you have a set target to achieve, planning your next steps will become easier. A SAP course is a good idea for a short term planning. But, if you want to grow in your career and reach heights, you collectively have look at strengthening your profile with more certification courses and if, possible, a MBA. Side by side, also improve your Soft Skills (British Council Course is not a bad idea at all). Also, It is a world of competition. How do you plan to reach out to the people about your services. Human Resources Planning - Are you looking for people to work along with you? Do you have some close acquaintances to help you in the process? Because, everything cannot be handled by just one person.
