With over five years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Tamil literature, my passion for spreading knowledge has driven me to excel in my field. Initially, I worked as a teacher in a school for five years, but now I have transitioned to becoming an individual home tutor.
As an educator, I specialise in teaching the Tamil language to students from grades first to fifth and sixth to tenth. I offer both online and offline classes, ensuring flexibility for my students. My classes run for one hour, during which I create an interactive and engaging learning environment.
To facilitate effective teaching, I utilise a whiteboard to explain concepts and engage students in discussions visually. This interactive approach fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter and encourages active participation from my students. I conduct weekly tests to gauge my student's progress and ensure their comprehension. These assessments help me identify areas where students may need additional support and allow me to tailor my teaching accordingly. By providing regular feedback, I encourage my students to improve and strive for excellence continuously.
In addition to teaching, I believe in nurturing a love for literature in my students. I incorporate exciting stories, poems, and literary works into my lessons, allowing students to explore the richness of Tamil literature. By introducing them to renowned authors and their notable works, I aim to instil an appreciation for the language and its cultural significance. My experience and dedication to teaching have equipped me with the skills to understand each student's unique learning style and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and asking questions.
