"Honoured to be writing a review for Shiva sir. My first GMAT score was abysmally law. The plethora of information available online actually worked against me - I was completely lost and didn't know what to do and where to start from. That's when I heard about Shiva sir. He gave me the confidence I needed to start working towards a higher score. He will accurately gauge your strengths and weaknesses and prepare a customized study plan for you. Since my verbal was decent, we focused primarily on Quant. He helped build my foundation and improved my conceptual knowledge. He will give you ALL the material and instructions you need to get a good score on the exam. In the end, your hard work and luck will determine your score but Shiva sir will ensure that you are fully equipped to take on the GMAT - with confidence. If you are a good student, and utilise all his material and teaching, and do the homework regularly, you are bound to do well on the exam. Best part - he's not like a regular teacher; he will become your friend through the journey and I used to look forward to going to his class every single time! I strongly recommend Shiva sir for his teaching style, subject/exam knowledge and the quality of material that he uses. "

"I undertook GRE prep under Professor Shiva Iyer in early 2014. Having endured several frustrating big-name mass classes that lack individual attention and engineer-oriented syllabi, Shiva sir was a refreshing change. Not only was his teaching customized for my individual goals, it was also finely tuned to my strengths and weaknesses. His expertise is unparalleled- whether it is a lucid explanation of a complex math problem, or the reinforcement of a simple concept- he communicates with candor and ease, making it seem effortless. Furthermore, I simply love the diverse teaching aids that he utilizes- from videos to mnemonics, he keeps classes interesting- I never feel as though I’m being “talked at”. The ultimate strength of Shiva sir’s training program, however, lies in his comprehensive vault of practice problems. Over the course of 4 months, I worked through almost 2,500 problems! Most importantly, Shiva sir is a genuinely nice person- and someone who really motivates you to do your best. He shares an excellent rapport with all his students. The only observation is that he is much more expensive than the average GRE training- especially batch classes, etc. But my experience was phenomenal and I highly recommend him as the best in Bangalore! "

GMAT Coaching

"I took GMAT Prep with Shiva Sir and I improved my score from 510 to 640. The key points during the preparation were we emphasized on my weakness and worked on only those areas. His preparation is intense and thorough and was customized to my strengths and weakness. We focused verbal (which was my weakness) with multiple exercises and drills.My sentence correction improved with 8 wrong per section when we started to 2 wrong in the final days. His personal attention to details and motivation me helped me significantly. I had looked at other mass prep classes before - they cannot match the one on one attention from Shiva sir. Though expensive, I truly believe that must visit him if you want to improve your GMAT scores "
