Overall Fitness and Weight Loss

"I am training under Saraswathi Mam for the past 3 and half months. Her customized personal training has helped me increase my overall body fitness and helped me loose 4 kg. I just love her training as her training sessions are fun and games. We don't realize that we have worked out for the whole hour. She plans our weekly work out in a systematic manner so as to include upper body, lower body , core strengthening, abs workout, cardio, agility, aerobics and yoga. Previously whatever other forms of work out i tried the instructor used to make me do max workout from day one, as a result i missed many sessions because of body pain. The best part of her training is that she slowly and steadily increases the intensity of my workout; thereby i am able to be consistent and not miss any session. High intensity weights workout has to be done before cardio. you can do low intensity weight workout after or along with the cardio(circuit).whatever the weights workout it may be u need to do 10 min walk jog warm up before going to workout

For maintaining fitness, 3 sessions per week is enough. But for Weight loss and muscle building, 5 sessions per week is advisable.

Only depending on Cardio for long time, it may lead to Knee pains, Joints pains etc. in future. Along with Cardio, Strengthening is must.
