"I posted my search for a one-on-one home tutor for Maths and Science for my son in Grade 9 (CBSE), when he had failed for the first time in his pre-mid-term exams. The kid had fallen behind during the two years of online schooling enforced by the COVID lockdown. He had a lot of area to cover to catch up in a very short time, to get up to speed. Plus his stubborn personality wasn’t very helpful in easing the catch-up. I’m so glad that Debamalya was the first to respond. Not only did he spend extra time and effort to understand my son’s unique needs, but he also adapted to the situation with patience and a gentle, yet firm approach, that worked. His scores improved dramatically, to show the difference that Deb’s tuitions made. As a parent, who has also tried to teach professionally, I know only too well, that teaching is not for everyone.
