Yes, Hindi is similar as well as different, the Bengali language does not differentiate between male and female, no more extended usage in Bengali all are same. Moreover, no singular plural is used, Bengali is a straightforward language grammatically as compared to Hindi language, so may be easy to learn, on the other hand, Bengali speaking community find it very hard to learn this two aspect of Hindi
