Yes, Vedic Maths incorporates visual techniques as an integral part of its approach to mathematical problem-solving. As an experienced tutor registered on UrbanPro.com, I can explain how visual techniques are utilized in Vedic Maths:

  1. Visual Representation of Numbers: Vedic Maths often employs visual symbols and representations to denote numbers. This helps in quickly recognizing and working with numbers.

  2. Digit-Sum Patterns: One of the key visual techniques in Vedic Maths is observing patterns in the digit sums of numbers. This allows for rapid mental calculations and simplification of complex operations.

  3. Vertically and Crosswise Multiplication: This technique involves visually breaking down numbers and performing multiplication in a way that is intuitive and easy to follow.

  4. Pattern Recognition: Vedic Maths encourages students to recognize patterns in numbers and operations. This visual approach aids in applying the appropriate techniques to arrive at solutions.

  5. Geometric Visualizations: Some Vedic Maths techniques involve geometric visualizations to simplify calculations and make them more intuitive.

By incorporating visual techniques, Vedic Maths provides learners with a multi-dimensional understanding of numbers and mathematical operations. This approach can enhance comprehension and retention of mathematical concepts.

How can you teach 7-8 year old kid to learn/memorize tables. Since kids these days are taught logic of addition and arriving at the multiplication result, they are reluctant to memorize the tables.
you do not need to make them memorise tables, instead help them understand the logic behind the numbers, table learning will happen automatically.
