If you want to settle in the USA after completion of your BDS, then you should try for NBDE. It has got two parts, one for theory another for practical/clinical. If you can crack these two, then you will get marks which will decide the college you will be eligible to study for the next three years for your DDS(your hard-earned Indian BDS degree does not mean anything to them). After graduating, you have to sit for another licentiate exam which will give you the eligibility to practise there. The pass percentage for all these three exams for south-east Asians is below 20% nowadays. If you are not a green card holder, oh by the way, now they have Trump there to build a wall.
P.S-the cost to study, and exams are above one crore. So according to me, you should try for your MDS and then try to open a clinic and practise or join a college as a faculty, or you can try Arab countries.
