According to me initially you should try for government jobs (if you have interest) Secondly try not to go completely in IT development or testing or networking... If you can go and start with Machine learning.. New zone new approach new field. Well finally depends on interest.. It is very important.
read lessMy suggestion is first check your self , are you interested and did some coding during ECE, Did you like it and you want to pursue your career in development , If yes then you can learn Core Java , spring , Hibernate etc., related course which is quite lengthy process but it helps in achieving longer career aspiration , If you are not code geek then join Manual testing , automation testing selenium courses where your training institute provides some placement . Learning networking and passing CISCO related courses will also help , Wish you all the best

Everyone will have different opinions.. For me may be Java is interesting..for some people may be networking or soft computing(A.I /M.L..) or it might be IOT.. So best suggestion is that you should explore all of the trending technologies and try to learn each technology atleast for 5 days..and for that lots of free tutorials are avilable on YouTube..After that if you feel like that one or more technologies are really interesting..just go for those particular technologies..
