Of course it does. Both of them are data visualisation or business intelligence tool. So for someone who is new to data visualisation its better to start of with the both as it creates a greater horizon of visualising data. But eventually it is recommended to master a tool. PowerBI will also be another tool of recommendation.
read less QlikView is a dashboard application which provides holistic and varied features while Tableau is more focused on visual analytics. To compete with Tableau, QlikViewreleased "QlikSense" which is a much neater data visualization tool.
I suggest you learn Power BI along with Tableau because it is new to the market when compared with QlikView.
