U can build in your formulas in Tableau that you want to analyse upon based upon the historical data available from stock market or for that matter any financial market be it commodity, derivatives, currency, crypto etc. For example if you want to analyse the behaviour of market around 20 monthly moving average or around 30 daily RSI , you may need to build in the formula in Tableau as Standard tableau functionality may not include them
the data you need to import into Tableau from NSE Reports and archives.

Moving average identifies trend of the market for both short term and long term goals. Suppose you are planning to take short term or can say intraday trading for a particular instruments then take 9 days MA &21 days MA.
If 9 days MA crossing above 21 days MA then trend is buy and the crossing point is called as a golden cross.
If 9 days MA crossing down to the 21 days MA then trend is sell and the crossing point is called as a death cross.
Selling time candles should lies below the 2 MA lines.
Buying time candles should lie above the 2 MA lines.
Apparently we can also use Exponential MA for both long term and short term goals as well.
Mostly we can use EMA at the time of swing trading as well by using two more strategies like use volume chart and HeikennAshi pattern, use RSI as well for better understanding the market.
Closly observe while using multiple moving averages like RAINBOW MOVING AVERAGE, GUPPY MULTIPLE MA etc depending upon your criteria of trading.
