I'm 15 years old, and I've completed my 10th standard. I'm a Telugu person. But I want to speak fluent English. What should I do? Please give me any suggestions.

1. Start watching YouTube channels related to your hobby in the English language; it will be easy to kickstart. Subtitles options are available.
2. Read any English Newspaper, especially the Times of India. If you encounter any problematic word, take the help of a dictionary. Starting it isn't easy, but slowly you will be in a position to read it better. Dont read The Hindu newspaper at the start of your reading habit.
3. Watch English movies with subtitles.
4. Watch English news channel.

The best way to learn English communication is by making constant efforts. Never get scared or feel conscious when speaking. Initially, aim and work on smaller goals, then raise the standard slowly once your perfect. Watch a lot of American or British shows or movies, you will find it very difficult to understand for a week, but slowly you will get there.

• Read newspapers regularly and find out the difficult words from the newspaper and know them via google or any other platform.

If this is followed regularly, I'm sure you will be gaining much proficient skill in spoken English.

Start these things:

1. Read English Daily for some time
2. Watch any English News Channel or any Speeches and Movies Daily for some time
3. Think in English
4. Last but most crucial, start a conversation with people in English.

Everyone wants to speak fluently, and trust me; it will only be learnt by practice. It's not a day-night thing, but it takes time.

Communication skills are such a term which itself define it- A skill that comes from practice. So to improve communication skills, the only productive step is to communicate as much as possible. You may follow specific steps:

• You can join any English speaking course where you will be provided with an environment to communicate but only through English.
• Face the mirror and speak, act and talk to yourself.
• Watch English/Hindi(preferable language) series and try to imitate them.
• Irfan Khan mentioned he never took English classes, but he called on customer care service and opted to talk with an English executive. The executive doesn't know you, so why don't you give it a shot.
• Learn one or two sentences or more in a day and try to use that particular sentence as many times as possible in a day.
• Choose a random topic and speak on it and record it to listen and work on yourself.
• Reading improves fluency and also improves speaking skills.
• Decide a topic and discuss it for 10-20 minutes with your siblings/friends/family/.

You will find a thousand ways to solve your problem, but the only solution holder is you. Believe that you can do it, and you will do it. It will not come in a day or two but every day's practice which helps you eliminate shyness and nervousness. It just gets you comfortable with the procedure that it takes nothing to express your thoughts or to communicate. All you just have to do is believe yourself and speak; whatever the language you choose, you are bright.
