Listen to basic vocabulary first of all to understand thier accent.Try to learn the silence words like in Wednesday d is silent,in honour,h is silent ,this will help you to catch faster. Watch English channels/movies with subtitles to understand their accent and write the differences in a notebook whenver necessary.Slowly you will be able to get in sync with the English accent.

Practise makes the man/woman perferct.Firstly focus more on your listening skills,hearken what person says and then try to answer so that u can begin to gain some confidence with your speaking.In order to compete with native english speaker you got to strenthen your grammar and thereby leading to increasing your vocablury knowledge.
