I will give an analogy to you. You are telling just like that despite knowing traffic rules and regulation; I can not drive a car in the city. For English speaking or any language speaking, grammar is secondary whereas speaking is primary.

Hello,

I have met many people throughout my short experience, who are good with grammar. Still, they can't use it in day to day life while communicating in English. So, my advice to you is to focus on all the four ways of learning a language, i.e., to read, write, listen and speak the language as much as you can, instead of just mugging up grammar formulas.

Hi Ashraf,
# Knowing grammar is a different thing and using that knowledge in your conversation while you speak with people is an altogether different thing.
# You should learn grammar with a practical or conversational approach.
# You should use the particular grammar concept in your conversation.
# For example, if you know the Simple Present Tense, then Simple Present Tense id used to talk about daily routine and habits. So it would help if you used a simple present to talk about your habits.
# Practsing English is in regular conversation is the key to fluency.
Thank you!

Even though grammar has no role to play in learning a language, you as a kid of class Nursery must have spoken correct 'Hindi' without having much grammatical wisdom.

English is just like any other language. Treat it parallel to other languages you have already learnt. Anyway, I hope things get easier for you. Don't give up Ashraf!

Record your reading and speaking practice. Listen to it after some time. See what is not working well and try to improve. Make a list of the new words that you come across, check their meaning. Try to make sentences with the new words learnt.
