Hi Hiranya, Though I'll be suggesting you a few ways to become comfortable with the language, more details on your background would certainly help in being specific. 1. Do you read newspaper ? If yes, on regular basis? Which newspaper do you read? Newspaper (and preferably THE HINDU) on regular basis is one of the best ways to get a command over the language. Just imagine the benefits of reading newspaper - your reading skills are improved; your general knowledge (not only current affairs) gets a high; you consciously or unconsciously start becoming familiar with general grammar; your thought process improves. 2. No matter what article your read (assuming you go through at least one article of your choice), there will certainly be one word which you are unaware of! Make your own vocabulary diary, note down the word and find its meaning. Its usage is already in front of you. 3. Eclectic reading - different domains, different styles - entertainment, sports, politics, history, technology, business, memoirs, culture and what not! Don't you think you are offered a feast? :) read less
