sir, i understand his problem, this is quite common in that young age to do mistakes. In this case, i suggest you one thing that, make him get interested in whatever subject he is studying at that particular moment. Allow urself to free your time, give him some visual examples, not like only numbers given in book, let it be more practical that we do in everyday life.
