vocal singing range can be extended up to a certain limit depending on the nature of the vocal chord. It is also seen that the climatic condition of a place has a role to play in the vocal range of a person. Vocal range is usually noticed to be higher in places of less humidity. However vocal range can be extended by an old traditional 'MURCCHANA' process where the notes of lower octave and higher octave are gradually and patiently rendered within a span of two to six months depending upon the tolerance level of the vocal chord. It should be kept in mind that the standing notes are more preferred in the notes of lower octaves than that of the higher octaves. read less

Yes, you can extend your range. But it a step by step process. Move in half steps only. Also, it very important that you are able to sing your entire with ease. So, while working on expensing don't forget to do it with ease.
