Overview

I am a proud disciple of Indian Classical music since last 30 long years, very very fortunate to have my vocal training from the great vocalist JAGJIT SINGH and GHULAM ALI. Other than them I have also received extensive vocal lessons from Pt Jayanta Bose and Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty.
I am also among the very few Indians to receive vocal training from the German vocal trainer, PETER CALATIN, who was also the vocal trainer (part time) of the reputed Sangeet research Academy , Kolkata.
I was the All Group Champion in the reputed DOVERLANE MUSIC CONFERENCE in the year 2001 and afterwards won the first prize in the HMV TALENT CONTEST and also a B-HIGH graded Artist of the ALL INDIA RADIO AND DOORDARSHAN.
I had received 100% scholarship to complete my Ph.d on PSYCHOACCOUSTICS from the Florida International University of USA .
I have been giving lessons and training on Vocal music and other eminent aspects of Indian Classical music since last 15 years, privately and also through different academic institutions.

"I have always wanted to learn singing and become a better singer. Thanks to my outstanding music teacher, Sourojyoti Ghosh, I am now fulfilling a life long dream.
