Hi Raj, There are no hard and fast rules in music. You can sing well without any training but if you want to do it professionally, training is recommended. Just like you can run without training but to take that as profession you'll require training.

I have done 6yr course of classical music vocal from Chandigarh gharana. Apart from that I have done MCA.(masters in computer application.

Yes, you can start. Its good to start at 7 if they are intrested, and yes obviously they can easily grasp. The only thing is required that they should have a singing voice. Many artists started at the age of 6 too.

It is good to have 3 peeled almonds a day with a cup of warm milk which is soaked in water overnight. Very good for maintaining voice.
