I am a Professional Singer and a Recording Artist from Chennai, India with over ten years of experience in the field.
My music journey began at the age of 6 with Carnatic Music, and The passion for music motivated me to explore different genres of music such as Hindustani classical, Western classical, Light classical under the able guidance of various Gurus. I have completed my Grade 5 in Piano from Trinity College (London). I appreciate all genres of music and absorbs the nuances from each of them.
I believe I am very fortunate to work with Dr AR Rahman in an Iranian Movie Muhammad: The Messenger of God by Majid Majidi.
I have given several performances in reputed events like Thyagaraja Festival, Famous Guruvayoour Chembai Festival, many TV channels, Award functions and Corporate venues like Infosys to name a few. I have been regularly featured in several music programmes conducted by various private organizations, and I performed over 200 shows across India and recorded for several projects including BBC Radio, Short Films, Jingles, Albums and Rhymes for kids etc.
I have 6 + years of experience in teaching Indian Classical Music, Light music and Voice Culture to different age category from children to adults across the globe. I have a great collection of compositions in my repertoire which brings in a lot of variety into my classes.
As a trainer, I much believe in creating a bond with my students and establishing a strong foundation in them which gives a great sense of accomplishment, and I strive to make the learning process enjoyable and comfortable. I'm committed to spreading the ecstasy of music as well as passing on my knowledge to those aspiring singers.
I firmly believe, everyone has a sense of music, but requires the right exposure to discover the musician in them! Music is a magical art that can only be mastered through committed learning and practice under the guidance of a passionate guru.
That which comes easily departs easily. That which comes out of sincere efforts remains forever. Human Voice is incredibly amazing. The right voice moulding takes one from an amateur singer to a fantastic vocalist. That journey is tough, though worth conquering.
