To answer this, let's first consider the coder aspect, Informatica being a graphical interface, it's always easier to code as compared to Hadoop which is pure coding.
Personally I hate coding which many people hate too.
Other, Hadoop being good in data analytical aspect, for analytics we need good data. For that Informatica is better since it quietly does the awesome work for data manipulation. It cleans the data from variety of source systems including Cloud, iot, now even from Hadoop.
So in my view, this question is just a physiological barrier.
To add on, Informatica recently released the latest version, Indonesia Informatica big data edition, which allows you to use complete big data in the graphical interface.
