Is "Pranantika" a Sanskrit word has a negative meaning as it means vehemnet, fatal, danger to life or it can also mean something which is mortal as in biodegradable ?
By my limited knowledge it refers to something that is 'Fatal to Life' and as such refers to every such thing that has the capacity to 'Kill' both directly and indirectly. Illustration: Though King Cobra's venom is fatal to human life, it isn't fatal to trees/plants. Going by the Hindu religion texts, the term refers to 'Tamogun' or 'Negative Traits' which have further been stated as KAAM, KRODH, MOH, LOBH, MAYA, IRSHYAA, AHANKAAR, etc which ought to be interpreted with caution.

Going by my limited knowledge, it refers to every such thing that can 'KILL' Homosapiens. This, however, doesn't include substances/chemicals/weapons. For instance, although a King Cobra's venom or that of a Black Mamba does have the capacity to kill, with the right treatment, it can be countered, and life can be saved from its effect.
Similarly, be it bombs/missiles or nuclear weapons which, when used by man, can kill, aren't exactly the reason that the deaths that have occurred. Going by the Pagan Religion of Hinduism, it's one man's/country's ego, rage, taste for revenge, greed, etc. that causes a man/country to use a devastating weapon like the nuclear weapons that can bring an end to all life forms. Going by this philosophy, it's 'Tamogun' or Negative Traits like 'MOH, MAAYA, KAAM, KRODH, IRSHYA, AHANKAAR, etc.' in men that can end a man's life.
