Undoubtedly, taking deep breaths and meditation help you in conquering your anxiety naturally but indeed it is true that when you are in an examination hall under a time-based pressurizing situation you won't find any of this method. In my opinion, to overcome anxiety best way is to practice each module of IELTS exams as much as possible before the final test. At least, practice 3-4 mock tests in the same format before doomsday. Hard work is the key to success. :)

Long story short, out of the plethora of methods available to achieve fluency in English, the best one is to get a newspaper or any other written text with you and start reading out that in front of a mirror. In this, try to speak up in an explanatory way i.e. find yourself as a stage orator who is conducting stage and taking help from texts on the podium. Practice this for at least 10 minutes for consecutive 3-5days and on the following day, your confidence will be on another level.
