I began my teaching career as a teacher of English. I had to teach the students of elementary school. It was a wonderful beginning as a teacher. Then a year later, I was given the opportunity to be a spoken teacher of primary school students where I put all of my efforts to clear the basics of English language. Year after year, my interest also increased in the same. I was taking language classes also and I had taught the students upto class 10th CBSE medium. My primary subject had always been English only. At different schools, I was given various roles as a language teacher. As a spoken teacher, I also took classes at my home where I guided students of various age groups upto class 8th. They became a part of my spoken classes and learnt a lot. Then I had a personal group of my colleagues who were supposed to be helped by me for improving their spoken English as it is a must for the teachers to converse in English medium schools. This was a challenging time for me as I had a big responsibility over my shoulders to fulfill the hopes of my colleagues. I put all of my efforts for improving their communication skills along with their writing skills. I used to give them some easy sentences and structures on daily basis to overcome their fear and become confident while speaking. I fixed a schedule according to which I kept working with them for clearing their basics. It was one of the most challenging yet wonderful experiences of my teaching career as a spoken teacher and I still work with same zeal.
