While teaching to this particular grade students, I have been inspired by the students dedication to learn more and more due to this being an important phase of their academic life (at least for most of the students). Students can make it great by a consistent program of self study and regular guidance if required. The students need to be more clear in their conceptual understanding than previous year as the standardization of questions in the final exams if often not met previously in any of the grades. Like for a student of ICSE board he will have to compete in the same league that some of the best students of the entire country (as per the revised syllabus) are preparing for. This makes the competition more intense and harder.
