Read lots of books to improve your vocabulary. Grammar is also an essential part. So invest in a good book for grammar and do one chapter regularly with all the exercises.Watch News channels, read newspapers, etc., Watching English movies with subtitles will also help. Speak as much English as possible with your friends, family etc. You will improve.
