This introductory class is for the people who want to learn the "Real Yoga"(Yoga, as described in our ancient Shastras). Now a days many yoga teachers and yoga institutes are focusing only on stretching and bending the body. Some teachers are treating yoga as excersize, which is also wrong perception. Such teaching abstain the yog sadhak from true knowledge of Yoga. Remember, there is huge difference between Yogasana and exercise. Patanjali's Yogsutra considered as most ancient Shastra on the wisdom of Yoga. My teaching is based on 3 ancient shastras, i.e. Patanjal Yog Sutra, Hath Pradipika abd Gherand Sanhita. Class contents: Scientific way of Omkar jaap: There are many ways of chanting the omkar jaap, but you will learn the most scientific as well as most researched technique Introduction to ashtang yoga: You will have introduction to 8 pillars of yoga in brief. Joints exercise: You will learn exercise related to joints in the body 2 Supplementary movements: These movements prepare the body for performing the Yog Asanas. Introduction to Asana: You will learn true definition of Asana. You will know that what ancient yog shastra tells about Asana. Also, 2 different Asan will be tought to you. Introduction to Cleansing technique (Shuddhikriya): You will know what are the 6 shuddhikriya in brief 3 types of breathing: Brief explanation of breathing types and its practice will be covered Introduction to Pranayam: You will know what is prana? How to control it? What is its significance and its effect? Introduction to meditation: You will know what is exactly the meditation is? Why meditation should be part of our daily routine? What are its benefits? Prayer and its importance: You will know the definition of the prayer and importance of prayer. Participants age should be above 14 year. Things to keep with you: Mat, handkerchief, disturbance free environment.
