This course enables HR professionals and HR aspirants to become career-competent or career-ready, respectively. This gives a perspective on how HRM is beyond tracking metrics, printing and distributing letters or following-up with employees, and that it is about "who you need to be" to succeed in HR.
The course will talk about the various sub-functions an HR Generalist is accountable for and 3 dimensions under each - a. procedures b. process improvements c. genuine value-add to employees and the organisation that can contribute to a culture change.
When students graduate after an HR degree, they often enter a space of confusion and self-doubt because there hardly is a match between theory and reality. This course helps bridge the gap and helps a seamless transition from theory to practice, from campus to corporate.
Participants will take away useful templates and concepts that they can use as a compass as they navigate their HR professional journey. Most importantly, feel pride in the work they are doing and the value they are bringing to their teams.
