Jolly Phonics is a comprehensive programme, based on the proven, fun and muliti-sensory phonics method that gets children reading and writing from an early age. We teach letter sounds as opposed to the alphabet. This is a group online class.

 The chid will learn-

1. Basic letter sounds: Introduction of 26 letter sounds with a multi-sensory approach involving actions, stories, songs, and practice of blends for comprehensive learning.

2. Reading: After mastering the initial letter sounds, children progress to combining the sounds to read and write CVC, CCVC, and CVCC words like "sat," "stop," and "nest."

3. Spelling: Identifying beginning, middle and ending sounds, also known as segmenting. This skill helps the children to spell.

4. Sight words (also known as Tricky words)- Sight words do not follow phonics rules. Introducing the frequent sight words increases reading fluency and enhances confidence. 

Additionally, there will be lots of vocabulary buiding with every sound. By the end, children will read and write sentences.
