Don't take your kid to this school. They management is not friendly with parents not sure how children are facing.

I an very eager to move to wards the central Bangalore so that my daughter gets an opportunity to study in the good schools we have always been brought up hearing. I am very eager to try for New Horizon, for the 2015-16 UKG classes. I did call up the school once but was told to contact again IN Feb'15. Please let me know the process and prerequisites to apply to New Horizon for the UKG class starting mid 2015. «less

For year 2015, we have got the admission for class 2 to our son in NHPS. After we submitted the application(form downloaded from their website), there was a test on 25th Jan. He has qualified and we were called for discussion. Totally the money to deposit is 2.3L in total. They allow us to pay part by part. 75K in cash for excursion, extra curricular... more»

For year 2015, we have got the admission for class 2 to our son in NHPS.

After we submitted the application(form downloaded from their website), there was a test on 25th Jan. He has qualified and we were called for discussion.

Totally the money to deposit is 2.3L in total. They allow us to pay part by part. 75K in cash for excursion, extra curricular activities etc., (till x). 88K and 85K in two installments.

From next year onwards, its 85K for the year. They are not giving much time to decide but to be done within 2 days of seat announcement.

One of my child completed 7th Standard with CBSE syllabus, after that school authorities are saying that....... "Now onward there is no CBSE syllabus in Karnataka" so that they reduced the annual fees for the 8th standard and given state syllabus books to my child and he is sitting in a state syllabus 8th standard class room. IS IT Right?.....can... more»

My kid appeared for admission test in this school, My kid is a very bright student , He always stood first in the class form lkg till 5th , He has been a bright student of Clarence public school and then PSBB in chennai , he won many prizes in Olampiyad( math, science english , Computers) and got state level rankings in IMO last year and NCO thsi year... more»

My kid appeared for admission test in this school, My kid is a very bright student , He always stood first in the class form lkg till 5th , He has been a bright student of Clarence public school and then PSBB in chennai , he won many prizes in Olampiyad( math, science english , Computers) and got state level rankings in IMO last year and NCO thsi year and we are wating for the SFO an IMO result for this year, He got many prizes in abacaus at different level and selected fro demos, Still we have not received any calls from them on the admission result , I am very much sure its nowhere on the admission test performance, «less

If a guy is bright and natural then this is a good school. But not a good school for average guy. They won't teach basic. This school makes only money. As Sandeep rightly mentioned.

Please do not opt for this school they take lot of donation not less than one lakh for a nursery child and if you go and ask them the replay which come from the principal is that your child did not perform well in the interview. I have a simple question for this principal and the whole management team of New Horizon is that what a three year child can perform is my question and that to admission for nursery if they are asking such a big donations is it correct ? is there no body to control these schools ? this is really a embarrassing situation this is one of the worst practice where parents only encouraging these type of schools. This is really a shame for us..... we should not encourage these type of schools. «less

Agree Manjunath, however there is no way to stop this , there are parents waiting to pay 1 lakh donation in cash to get their kids into this school (and infact in any reputed school in bangalore) My son got selected through merit last year. My son got selected through merit last year. Two questions they asked my son
1. What was the color of the baloon he was given.
2. Which animal movie had he seen recently (luckily Life of Pie released during same time.
After that parents interview and we were told we were selected.
We were not asked to pay 1 lakh donation but still I did not take admission in the school because of their money minded attitude.
I got my son admited in Baldwin Boys school finally. «less

The school looks out for kids, whose parent is either very rich as NRI or as big bank balance. This school asks for parents academic records and the CTC of both the parents. On the basis of the CTC, the kids are given admission. if the parents approach, they are sent for the management quota. so the total fee is 98000/- + 46000/- + 1L if in management. more»

Admission to this school does not depend on how well your kid answered questions during interview. If you have the money you will get admission. For nursery they asked to pay the following after telling me that my daughter is wait listed. Rs 1 lakh in cash (no receipt will be given) Rs 1 lakh by DD within next 10 days. They said Rs 70 K is the all-inclusive tuition fee. This means out of total Rs 2.5 lakh that you pay, Rs 1.8 lakh is the donation, and out of that Rs 1 lakh in cash (that is black money in the hands of the school). This black money collected from all admission seeking parents is invested by the human-blood sucking management to buy land to construct more schools and colleges which will in turn earn them even more money. «less
