I had my kids interview on 8th Jan 2014. Somehow my kid got scared and didn't interact much with the teacher. Will this be a criteria for selection. anyone has any experience of not much interaction but still called by nhps?

we asked to pay 1lakh cash non refundable under management quota to get seat for my son , yes school is good they do involve kids in all other activities like sports, dance , music , culture , art is a good school . As a parent we should make them learn at home so is parents responsibility

I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth admission procedure of NHPS, Indiranagar. I stood in the queue on 3rd Jan precisely at 7:30 am and got the form in less than an hour. Interview was scheduled on Sunday. The interview happened at the scheduled time. 1st my daughter was taken to a room along with her mom and some basic interaction was done (like... more»

I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth admission procedure of NHPS, Indiranagar. I stood in the queue on 3rd Jan precisely at 7:30 am and got the form in less than an hour. Interview was scheduled on Sunday. The interview happened at the scheduled time. 1st my daughter was taken to a room along with her mom and some basic interaction was done (like identifying color, counting 1-10, alphabets, identification of animals, birds, begetables etc). Then me and my wife had an interaction with 2 teachers where we were asked about our education, work background and why we were interested in this particular school. The whole thing was over in less than 30 minutes. Next week I got a call and met the school authority where the amount that we had to pay was let known. I found the fee structure to be quiet rational keeping the real estate cost, escalating costs of operation etc. in mind. The most important thing for me was the timeliness and hasslefree mode of the entire procedure.

Parents, please note that we in India are increasingly moving towards the US way of education system where quality education comes with a price and no matter what the Govt regulation say about K12 education to be non-profitable, but I believe that's an eutopian thought.

Yes, we had to pay 1 lac over & above the fee structure you have mentioned. Not sure on what grounds the disparity is & targetted at whom. BTW what was the date of admission of your kid, we took admission on 20th Jan.
