Praveen Lamdade

I have a strong academic background in Science, Maths, Accounts, and Finance. I have passed my 12th in Science with majors in Maths. I have completed graduation in Accounts and Finance. Currently, I am appearing for CA intermediate (level 2) examination. From the last 20 months, I am undergoing articleship training in taxation, auditing, and finance domain, where statistics plays an important role.

I also have a passion for teaching and I have gained valuable experience in this field by volunteering in two NGOs: Bhumi and Akanksha Foundation.

Bhumi is an organization that aims to provide quality education to underprivileged children and empower them to become change-makers in society. I have been a volunteer with Bhumi for six months and I have taught Science and Maths from 5thto 8th standard students. I have enjoyed every moment of this journey as I have witnessed the growth and development of the children. I have also learned a lot from them and improved my own skills and confidence. I have interacted with various stakeholders such as parents, teachers, and coordinators and developed effective communication and collaboration skills.

Akanksha Foundation is another organization that works towards providing education and life skills to children from low-income communities. I have been a volunteer with Akanksha Foundation for four months and I have taught Science and Social Studies to 7th and 8th standard students. I have had a lot of fun with the children and they have shown me immense love and respect. I have also felt the joy of making a difference in their lives and inspiring them to achieve their dreams.

Through these experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy of 8th standard subjects. I have also learned how to use various online tools and platforms to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. I am confident that I can apply these skills and knowledge to teach online tuitions effectively and efficiently.
Along with that, I have also learned Data Science from IIT Madras, which has enhanced my analytical and problem-solving skills. I can teach these subjects in a clear and simple way, using examples and applications from real life.

As an online tutor, I will design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that suit the needs and interests of the students. I will use a variety of methods and strategies, such as quizzes, games, videos, projects, etc., to make learning fun and effective. I will also assess the learning outcomes and feedback of the students and use them to improve my teaching. I will also deal with the challenges and difficulties that may arise in online teaching with patience and professionalism.
