Basics of Hindustani classical vocals (Alankars, singing on pitch)

Breathing techniques to sustain phrases for longer periods of time when singing. Some techniques I will teach you are hissing exercise to release breath slowly when you sing, controlling the ascend of the diaphragm when exhaling, etc.
Lip trills, tongue trills, tongue hums to sing across all voice registers smoothly
Power-push techniques to improve the vocal range
Yodelling techniques, crescendos, descrescendos and Messa di voce
APPLICATION OF TECHNIQUES TO SONGS
Light Bollywood songs, Ghazals, Semi-classical songs will be taught. Western pop and rock songs will also be taught, depending on the interest of the student. The main focus will be on singing songs with feel and expression
