Simple instead of data range you need to pass named range. For name either you know the formula or other you can convert you range to table and give a name to table. Use that name in place of data range while making chart.

Creating a Dynamic Chart with Named Ranges:

A dynamic chart is a valuable tool for data visualization in Excel. It automatically updates as your data changes, offering real-time insights. Named ranges provide a structured way to define data ranges for dynamic charts.

Follow these steps to create a dynamic chart with named ranges:

  1. Prepare Your Data:

    • Organize your data in a tabular format, including the labels for the X and Y axes.
    • Ensure your data is clean and doesn't have any empty cells.
  2. Create Named Ranges:

    • Select the data range for the X-axis labels and give it a unique name. To do this, go to Formulas > Define Name.
    • Repeat the process for the Y-axis data range.
    • Make sure the names are descriptive and easy to remember.
  3. Insert a Chart:

    • Select your data.
    • Go to the "Insert" tab and choose the chart type that suits your data (e.g., bar chart, line chart, etc.).
  4. Edit the Data Series:

    • Click on the chart to select it.
    • Click on the "Chart Elements" button (the plus icon) and check "Data Labels" to display labels on your chart.
  5. Link Named Ranges to Chart Data:

    • Right-click on your chart and select "Select Data."
    • In the "Select Data Source" dialog box, edit the series for X and Y data.
    • Enter the range name for the X-axis labels in the "Axis Labels" box.
    • For the Y-axis data, enter the range name you created.
  6. Updating the Chart:

    • Now, whenever you update the data in the named ranges, your chart will automatically reflect the changes. This makes your chart dynamic and always up-to-date.
