While I think that cooking is a major lifeskill, I don't agree with it being taught at school. The parents can take up the responsibility of making a child adept at cooking by equipping them with the knowledge of basic cooking techniques. It's far better for cooking to bring about feelings of fun and love than for it to be associated with classrooms and exams as it may put off some students.
