GMAT Exam Schedule
GMAT (The Graduate Management Aptitude Test) is scheduled multiple times a year, and it will be like that in 2019 as well. The candidates have to register online on the official website, www.mba.com to appear in this exam. In contrast to other exams, GMAT doesn't happen on a particular date and time. Instead, it enables the candidates to choose their preferred test date, time and exam centre as per their convenience. The candidates need to pay a specific amount as the fee, according to the registration procedure. Besides online registration, the candidates are allowed to register for it via email, fax or phone as well.

GMAT Exam Information
GMAT is an assessment tool to test applicants' academic abilities for them to step into the top 1,900+ business schools. It is a standardised method of the business school admission process. GMAT is a computer adaptive based, multiple choice test that focuses on quantitative, analytical writing, verbal and reading skills in written English. Approximately 2,100 colleges and 5,000+ graduate courses accept GMAT score as a selection criterion.
GMAT Exam Day Checklist
The GMAT exam is exceedingly particular about the checklist, where only certain personal items are permitted in the test room. GMAT approved identification, appointment confirmation letter or email, eyeglasses, a jacket or light sweater and locker key to some extent. Other items are considered a policy violation and result in cancelled test scores. Food, water and other comfort items are allowed during break time. However accessing the mobile phone is strictly a serious violation, even accidentally amid break time.

GMAT Exam Centers
GMAT is conducted in 650 testing centres in 114 countries across the globe. In India, GMAT is held across 26 cities that comprise 29 centres in total. New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Cochin, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mohali, Rachi, Guwahati, Manipal, Vishakhapatnam, Patiala, Indore, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Vellore, Pune, Tiruchirappalli, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Patna and Vijayawada are the list of the 26 cities. There are paper-based exams conducted, once or twice a year in supplementary GMAT centres.
What to carry for GMAT Exam
The candidates should bring an identification document that has name and date of birth with identifiable photograph & signature, which is precisely akin to GMAT application form. A valid passport is likewise mandated on the day of the test if the centre is outside country.
