"My son who is 10 year old is learning Sitar from Kajal Madam for last 7 months & the experience has been amazing. Kajal Madam herself is a great Sitar Maestro & she being a Music Teacher understands the pulse & Needs of the student very well. She is an amazing teacher & develops an emotional connect with the student quite instantaneously. She is also a great motivator who has greatly motivated my son, who now is passionately learning Sitar. My son has greatly benefited from the Sitar classes with Kajal Madam & I highly recommend her. "

"I started learning from Kajal Ma’m in September 2020 in the middle of the pandemic and so had to do online classes. But never did I feel that it was a problem. I am an absolute beginner with no prior knowledge of music and she hand held with so much kindness and patience like a true Guru. She is an amazing artist herself with soo rich experience but she teaches so beautifully to even beginners. She is extremely patient with me and very accommodating to reschedule my classes. She even helped me pick my sitar with her recommendation. Her kindness towards her students makes you feel like you are learning from a family member! "

"I am glad I found such a wonderful and knowledgeable teacher. Both I and my sister have been taking sitar lessons from her for 6 months and we really enjoy her every class. When we began we barely had any idea of the instrument but now we literally love playing the instrument and also progressing very quickly under her guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn sitar regardless of age or skill level. "

"Kajal chatterjee is a very knowledgeable and dedicated teacher. She is very courteous and she patiently clears all doubts. I am under her guidance for last 1 year. At first I use to take offline classes but due to the present situation I am taking online classes which is very good too. She teaches with same dedication both offline and online "

"This lady kajal Chatterjee herself called me first; for multiple times and told me to join her class; Note - I never called her first. I told her to give me some time to search for sitar; that she told me to send the videos of sitar; which I did. The one she selected wasn't available so I sent her another one; also I told her that I can come to Kolkata to take sitar if you affirm me that it is good. Suddenly when I took the name of one prominent sitarist of Kolkata who is selling on WhatsApp; she started shouting that I will complain to police; why are you messaging me and wasting my time. She is ill-mannered; discourteous; impolite and psychopath; Is she real sitar teacher or some kind of fraud person? Stay away from her. "
