I am a retired Associate Professor of Economics with over 20 years of experience teaching college students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. I spent 18 rewarding years at a regular college, where I honed my skills and developed a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.

Hello! I am Dr. Punnakal Vandana Mukundan, a passionate and dedicated educator specializing in economics for over 20 years. I hold a PhD, M.A., and M.Phil. in Economics, along with a Master's in English. My teaching journey has been deeply fulfilling, as I’ve had the privilege of imparting knowledge at both the school and university levels. I served as the Head of the Department (HOD) at SN College in Kerala from 2004 to 2023, where I gained significant experience in curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic leadership.

As a patient and dedicated educator, I believe in walking the extra mile with my students. My teaching approach is student-centred, focusing on individual learning styles and needs to ensure that each student can grasp complex economic concepts with ease.

Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to teach 12th-grade students at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, helping them build a strong foundation in economics. My approach to teaching economics goes beyond textbook knowledge; I focus on making the subject relatable, engaging, and accessible. I believe that understanding economic principles is crucial for students, whether they are pursuing it as part of their school curriculum or as a major in their undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
