Answer The IELTS score may vary for each category. It depends on the country you are applying for, the university and also the job designation. For example, if you have applied for a university as a student, then you will need a band score of 6 or 7. In case of a higher job designation, the requirement is 7 in all sections, i.e. listening, reading, writing and speaking.
