Abacus is written as abacus in Hindi .its a noun .sangya in Hindi ..it won't have any separate meaning .the word itself has come from foreign .it is not an Indian originated language .As the abacus has its roots as far back as Mesopotamian civilization, it's difficult to attribute a single person as the inventor of this counting frame. However, the world recognizes Tim Cranmer as an inventor because he invented the abacus for visually impaired people in 1960.
