Is Hindi language meant to unite Indians or to trigger Indians?

Hindi has become a tool in India, it is dependent on people who use it, either to unite or to trigger.

More than schools or Hindi prachar sabhas, it is Bollywood which spread Hindi throughout our country. By watching Hindi movies, we can at least understand some basic Hindi, even though we may not be able to speak Hindi fluently.

When PM gives speech, most of Indians will watch it live, it will be in Hindi.

The role of Hindi in India is multifaceted and can be viewed from different perspectives:

1. **Unifying Force**: Proponents argue that Hindi serves as a common language that can help bridge communication gaps among diverse linguistic and cultural groups, fostering a sense of national identity.

2. **Cultural Tensions**: Critics contend that promoting Hindi over regional languages can lead to feelings of marginalization and resentment among non-Hindi speakers, triggering regional and cultural tensions.

Ultimately, the impact of Hindi depends on how it is promoted and integrated within the broader context of India's linguistic diversity. A balanced approach that respects and supports all languages is essential for unity without alienation.
