I am software engineer in wipro since 2011. I want to learn hadoop. actully I wanted to become java or oracle developer but I got functional project and worked 3 yrs. Now i want to move in development line. I can attend only weekend batch. 1.Can you please tell me do u provide the weekend batch? 2.within how many months you will complete the syllabus. 3.what salary I can expect from MNC's after learning hadoop?

Hadoop conceptually needs maximum 20 hours of theory (obviously also depends on grasping power) and rest of it is practice. More you do, its better. So lookout for some one who can help you out with real scenarios. 3. Salary depends largely on company to company basis and what all skillset you have along with Hadoop. I would suggest something like Hadoop + MongoDB + Java as some lethal combination. read less
