Some Popular IT Courses in Current Market

In the domain of Information Technology, there is always a lot to learn and implement. However, some technologies have a relatively higher demand than the rest of the others. So here are some popular IT courses for the present and upcoming future:

Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing is a computing technique which is used to deliver a service over a network (mainly the Internet). With this, people can access files and applications from any device which has an access to the Internet. The demand for Cloud Computing is on the rise. According to a recent survey, 25% of the major MNCs are searching for software developers who have knowledge of virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS) development and Platform as a Service (PaaS). Cloud Computing is currently a $7 billion business. By 2015, Cloud Computing is expected to grow into a $123 billion market. One survey has projected Amazon's AWS alone being worth $18 billion by that time. Read our article on Cloud Computing here. cloud computing source:hightech-highway.com

Java

Java undoubtedly is the most popular programming language till date. Java was developed in 1995 by Sun Microsystems and over the last 20 years, has become one of the most sought-after programming languages in the domain of web development. It has been ranked as number one on JobsTractor and number 2 according to TIOBE Programming Community Index. One of the key features of Java is platform independence, which means that programs developed for Microsoft Windows can be run on Apple’s Mac OS X and vice versa. This makes Java the most preferred language for developing enterprise applications. Demand for Java developers is immensely high, with naukri.com counting around 73,826 Java vacancies in its database. The top employers in Java are Amazon, IBM, eBay, HP, Microsoft and Deloitte. For more information on "why" should you learn Java, you can read our article here.

Big Data is currently a $6 billion business.  A study has predicted that Big Data is likely to cross $50 billion by the end of 2018. This is because Big Data technologies have an enormous capability to provide analytical services for solving critical business problems. The demand for Big Data has seen a substantial rise due to which the top IT companies are exploring the Big Data domain including Hadoop, Map Reduce and NoSQL. With the increase in usage of smart phones the demand for innovative mobile applications is on the rise. This has resulted in a huge scope of android and iOS development in India. Android is an open source operating system which was developed by Google. It is being used in 70% of the smart phones and tablets available in the market.  Apple's sales in both iPhone and iPad has also increased substantially. All these reasons have generated a great demand for Android and iOS application developers. Studies have shown that mobile phone and tablet sales will reach around 2 billion this year, leading to a great demand for Apple and Android application developers. The real reason is a large majority are engaged in jobs that are likely to be non-existent in the future. The old-fashioned manual jobs are likely to be replaced by automation and cloud computing that significantly reduces the size of the workforce.

In a recent presentation to Nasscom, McKinsey said that nearly half of the workforce in the IT services firms will be “irrelevant” over the next 3-4 years.

60-65 percent of the workforce is just not trainable– a similar view was echoed by Capgemini CEO who feels that.

Which means anyone who has upgraded their skill sets has a secured future and an edge over their peers.

Where do I Upgrade my skills to become a IT/software Business Analyst?

There are many institutes which claim to have a Business Analyst Course. We would recommend that do a Business Analysis Course to learn the practical aspects of the requirements gathering. And only go to an institute which has professional trainer who has real time experience of IT Business Analysis experience and the course should be a practical course and not a theory program. Theory is all over the internet…just google and you will get all the theory that you need to understand. Do a training program to learn the practical aspects of Business analysis and not for theory. If you wish to learn theory its all out there on google…

After going through a lot of websites and doing a lot of research we found that there is a Institute named Ziphertech (www.ziphertech.com) which has a practical training program for you to become a Business Analyst.
