Answered on 04/07/2020 Learn Language/Spoken English
When we listen to or read a new word or a word often used by native speakers, it forms a mental question if the meaning is either not clear or not understood. All it requires is an immediate usage to fix it in our memory and thus become a part of our learning. Ask for help if possible else seek Google help. For, e.g. the word is Redundant. Commonly used in everyday language."This information is redundant".It means something which is of no use now. If practised every day it becomes familiar, and since the meaning is understood, its application also seems natural. Hope this answer encourages you to practise.
