The Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) invites Online Recruitment Applications (ORAs) for the posts of Scientist-B in DRDS Cadre of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) under Direct Recruitment Scheme. Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Scientist-B Posts

4	Aeronautical Engg.	Minimum 1^st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Aeronautical Engg. Only, from a recognized university or equivalent.Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

DRDO Scientist-B Pay Scale INR 15,600 -- 39,100 with Grade Pay INR 5,400 Age Limits

Reserved Category	Age Limit
OBC (Non-creamy layer)	Not more than 31 years
SC/ST	Not more than 33 years

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit

Central Civilian Govt. Employees working in the same line or allied cadres would get up to 5 years age relaxation
Ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs would get upper age limit relaxation as per the rules in vogue
Persons with disability (with minimum 40% disability) would be eligible for age limit relaxation, as per Govt. rules in vogue for Computer Sc. & Engg.,only

Candidates can submit their applications online through RAC website http://rac.gov.in with scanned copy of certificates for essential and higher educational qualification, employment certificate (if any), pay slip of last drawn salary, and a recent passport size photo (size not more than 30 KB; resolution of 110 * 140 pixels). The maximum file size of each attachment should not be more than 500 KB and it must be legible when a printout is taken out.
