I am presently working as a research scholar at Gauhati University Assam. I have completed my post graduation in Economics with specialities in Econometrics, Financial Economics and Demography. I have been busy with teaching jobs since my post graduation years. Starting as a home tutor, for last 3 years, I delivered lectures in different coaching institutes. Presently I am working as a contractual teacher in Financial Economics at PG level under Gauhati University.
My opinion about teaching is that at first it is a service, then a profession. Not everything in the world can be taught, but everything can be learnt. Honesty on the part of both teacher and students can go a long way achieving the objectives of learning.
