Good question. You have to master at least one raaga properly by playing multiple alankaars based on that specific raaga. I would suggest not to rush learning so many raagas. Long note practice will also give you a lot of opportunities to self actualise the specific swaras.restrict yourself to few notes and try to make as many combinations and try to do aalap.this will help to increase your creativity
