Just go for Canon EOS 700D with dual lens kit (18-55mm & 55-250mm). Trust me, it’s a very good setup to begin with, as you can also experiment a lot with focal length. The problem with entry level photographers is that the buy a decent body with a very average lens (18-55mm or 18-135mm) and expect...

Hi Anup, I assume that you are a beginner. However just about any time in the journey of photography, always go for the best camera you can afford. The reason is, if you are really passionate about photography and learn continuously then, if you buy just basic camera, you would soon find your camera is not sufficient for what you want do. In short your camera should outlast for a good time. I know it's bit more expensive than your budget but canon 700D or Nikon 7000 with 18-135 lens would something I would recommend. You may choose either of them, as both companies make excellent cameras. At entry level, don't worry about all fuss about Nikon is better or cannon is better. I would also suggest don't go for lens combinations like 18-55 and 55-200. I agree that those come bit cheaper but in that case you would end up changing lens every now and then. When you change the lens there is a great risk some dirt or debris reaching the sensor. Instead stick to combinations like 18-135, where you won't need to to change the lens. I am Nikon guy myself so always inclined towards so would suggest Nikon 7000, but at last it's your choice and the budget who has to take call. And don't worry both are great cameras. Please feel free to drop a note in case you have any following questions. Happy Shooting Sachin read less

brother my suggestion would be Nikon if you want to take up photography. And for your question about which camera to buy, any low-end camera would work perfectly well. brother my suggestion would be Nikon if you want to take up photography. And for your question about which camera to buy, any low-end camera would work perfectly well. Invest the least on the body and the most on your lenses. Lenses will be helping you the most rather than the body. You can always switch bodies later on. Since you are a beginner you'll need a lot of motivation for experiments, so having a number of lenses will surely help you with that. Won't give many details on the lenses, but will surely suggest you buy a blocked lens, a telephoto lens(preferably the one which has a macro switch) and the basic 18-55. Anything that you don't understand just google it. GOOD LUCK. read less

Both the companies are good in terms of quality. But I personally feel Canon will be good for Portrait and Nikon will be good for Landscape. Within this budget the best Camera will be Canon 700D with two lenses, which will meet most of requirements. But again if you are a professional then you need to...

Anup, it doesn't really matter which company's camera you are buying if the quality of photography comes to picture. I would personally suggest Canon because of their lens build. Also opt for an entry level DSLR with a kit lens to learn the basic nuisances of photography easily.
