You need to use the two timers respective registers (timer 0 and timer 1 reg) to write the appropriate count value (TH0/1;TL0/1). Then use the TMOD register to set the modes in which you want to operate the two timers. The set the timer run bit in your code, the timers will start. Monitor the TCON register to check for timer overflows or you can lso use timer interrutps to rest and start the timer again.
