I know how to speak a little English but not very well. I make a lot of grammatical mistakes also. I am not understanding that how I can remove this as I want to crack all interviews and be a good speaker but my grammatical mistakes are giving a lot of problems. Please help me to improve this.

Hi Akash, The query you have raised is the query of many people as they can understand English but when it is about speaking; they lack confidence or commit grammatical errors. Firstly I would suggest you, search for a partner who knows more than you and can rectify you. That partner can be your friend, your mate, or you can go for some classes either nearby your place or online tutoring. The second thing that I would suggest you to keep on listening and reading (loudly). You can watch movies and I want to add up, "FRIENDS" series is amazing. You should definitely go for it. Meanwhile, you may start reading novels. Start developing an interest in those novels. Don't read those novels just because you want to learn, start loving it. If you like love stories, go for those. Now, why am I suggesting you to read and listen? Remember, when we were kids, we were new to this world. We didn't know anything. But we came to know lakhs of Hindi vocabulary because we kept on listening to it from people around us. This is the power of listening. When you will start listening right, you will get accustomed to right grammar. And why reading is important; For that, there is a clear illustration. The students of the private school have better grammar than those of government school because they are in habit of reading. Reading and listening both are an effective method but long term also. So, don't forget to have a partner or a teacher with whom you can speak and can get rectified.

Hi Fahad, As per my opinion, a person gets nervous only under two circumstances. First, when he thinks that he is getting judged and second, when he thinks he knows lesser than others. First, understand the term ‘INTERVIEW’. It’s nothing, just an internal view that an interviewer wants to take because till the time, interviewer doesn’t know you, how is he gonna hire you dear. It’s nothing, just a session of questions where they want to about you, your career and your thinking. And if you know yourself then it will become piece of cake for you. Before going for any interviewer, just keep one thing in mind. If you have knowledge then they people need you more than you need that job. Interview Skills is basically divided into three categories: PERSONALITY means how you dress up and how do you present yourself. ANSWERING SKILLS means how you answer question. Get yourself prepared for the questions you are going to encounter in Interview. And try to find a diplomatic answer for the question which can create predicament. For example: If Interviewer asks: Are you nervous? This question is a predicament. You can neither say ‘Yes’ nor ‘No’. For every question like this, candidates are advised to be diplomatic. Answer can be like, “A bit, I think it is quite obvious also.” “One tends to get nervous when one is getting judged, so little bit of nervousness is quite obvious.” “I was nervous, when I was outside waiting for my turn, but now it’s fine.” CONFIDENCE: It means one believes in oneself. Definitely, there are many Dos and Don’ts. But at least get yourself prepared for first two traits I have mentioned above, i.e., a better Personality and good Answers for the questions which have the probability to be asked in interviewer. And about confidence, I know very well; No matters how many people say, "Be Confident.", but reality is different. I would say just believe on yourself not because I am saying because life is what we want to see it like. Just look positive.
